you know, the nothing is permanent part sounds depressing. but then when you say, nothing is STATIC, oh that is the glass half full.
always changing, always evolving, with the world and with the people around us. i don't know if i ever want to settle down in one place, this whole seeing the world and constant learning from it is such a good thing.
i miss you, evan fetty. your picture's still on my wall,

i love this pic, its one of my favorites, the eye contact makes it.
its true that we have lost touch, and we are both slackers as well. but when considering the reasons for this loss, there is quite a positive explanation- we are each out living life, taking all that we can from it, and quite possibly giving back twice as much. dont get me wrong, im not saying that i think lack of communication is a good thing, or that i dont miss you very very much - you know thats not true. but all things considered, weve each accomplished alot these past few months and have lived some of the most enriching days of our lives thus far- i think the lack of communication is merely a testiment to this fulfilment.
never doubt our friendship, agelicas will be sooner than you think, dont rush time, it moves fast enough when youre having fun. i miss you very much and will write you shortly (sorry for not being online very often, its crazy freaking nice out all the time).

YES! you are right. living the best parts of our lives, granted i wish you were here often but there are some things you just have to do on your own...
there's a reason i never get online. i'm living in cork, and i don't want my mind to be elsewhere. granted it wanders back to boone often, but i try to focus on the people in my life HERE and NOW. the air HERE and NOW. my everyday doing the dishes, walking, eating, sleeping. here. now.
i now understand why you said "i wish everyone could meet everyone in the world, at least once". the more people's stories i hear, the more i understand about the world, about the adventure that is living, about myself.
i didn't get it before. now i do.
yes, angelica's will be so wonderful. and tasty, too. i know you'll be enjoying every moment this summer, and me as well. enjoy those nice sunny days, i'll write a proper letter to you soon -- letters are so much better than livejournal.
i needed that affirmation of friendship, it means a lot to me to know you're still there. miss you too :)
