I found out today that a woman who comes to Publix all the time for danishes is a widow. I wasn't really surprised or anything - she's an older woman, but she's been a widow for three years and when she and Nancy were talking about it she said "it's not easy" and her eyes kind of glossed over as she looked past us and then busied herself looking at ( Read more... )

Perhaps it is you who is too young to be thinking about this...though I strongly agree with most of it, except the murder she wrote part. I'll probably be more of a Price is Right old guy. What publix do you work at?

I am growing cynical in my old age, aren't I? : )

I used to watch The Price is Right at my Nana's house when she babysat me - I just don't think it will be the same without Bob Barker

and I work at the Publix on Little - closer to 52? The Golden Acres Plaza
