Gibbs knelt on one knee, hands extended, clutching a velvet black box. “Don't ever doubt my love for you again.” He whispered. “Marry me?”
#02 - Hero
For a long time, Gibbs had been Tony’s hero; but then, entangling his fingers with Gibbs’ just to hear that snick of metal connecting, he realised that they were equals.
#03 - Memory
Kelly and Shannon would always be idyllic memories for Gibbs but Tony… he was the future.
#04 - Box
Tony kept the box full of Gibbs’ medals for years, and then he started putting in mementos of other things. Things like the movie ticket from their first date, Shannon’s wedding ring and a photo of the team.

Once upon a time, Tony would’ve run from romance. Now, he takes a deep breath and sits at the candlelit table with a smile.

Tony looked into Gibbs’ eyes for a long moment, then nodded. “Well, okay then.”

When Tony woke Gibbs up at dawn to see the sunrise, Gibbs could feel hope rising with the giant ball of flames.

The fact that Gibbs really was trying to make it up to him eclipsed the fact that, well, Gibbs really sucks at cooking.

“Gah.” Tony’s body was glued to the floor from gravity and he panted harshly, ignoring Gibbs’ smug smile.
