My mother just called me .. she was like ... a little bit irked ... well that might be an understatement. I sent her flowers along with a coupon card for a perfumery store - did this over the Internet. But when she went today to use that card she learned that the card wasn't loaded. totally embarrassing, according to her, and how could I do that ( Read more... )

Good for you for stopping and trying to help the man. Not everyone does that. : ) And good thing the police didn't jump to any conclusions because then your good deed would have been tarnished.

Sorry about the mom situation though. :/ Did she at least thank you for the flowers?

to be honest ... at the end of our phone call, mom laughed ...she wasn't as angry as it might have sounded in my entry ... and yeah :-) she thanked me for the flowers. LOL

This story had me in stitches because it was so crazy :)

However, I can totally understand the seconds of terror when you thought you were to blame for the guy's accident. That would have been too fantastic.

Your mother's reaction to the flower tragedy was fun :)

I was going to invite my parents to come over to Copenhagen tomorrow for a multi get together birthday bash for all of us who hasn't exchanged gifts this year but my mum is busy attending a nisse workshop (Heinzelmännchen workshop)... so... I expect to get an awesome nisse from her lol

I think my fantasy got the better of me. I might have seen too many cop series ... LOL

The flowers and the coupon card were for her b-day, because I wasn't able to make it to her birthday this year ... first time in at least the last 15 years.

LOL at the Heinzelmännchen Shop! Maybe you can show the result here...?!

As a matter of fact, my mum told me today that she had made to sets of Heinzelmännchen. A set for for me and one for my sister. Since I'm the only one to come home to my parents this Christmas, I can get to choose which pair I want :) And then I will show them on LJ *g*!!!
