I don't even know, you guys. 2. The salt rule in our house is: Don't. Unless you're baking, no salt goes in until at least two people have assembled to help you taste the whatever-it-is as you add tiny amounts of salt. Not doing so results in toxic egg salad and spaghetti sauce that tastes like metal.

5. Oh, God, watching it run frantically in a circle before collapsing on a bent stalk of grass was just D: D: D: SO AWFUL. It was only little! I do not care if I kill an ant or a fly or a wasp or a cockroach or a spider (although dead spiders make me want to shrivel up with disgust and horror), but PREYING MANTISES, MAN. THEY ARE MY FRIENDS. As are bees. And butterflies. And ladybugs. Actually, most beetles. I'm going to stop before this turns into a round of "arthropods I have known."

omg, bagels. I am on such a bagel kick right now and it is so tempting to try and make some! Perhaps I will take my bread flour on holidays with me and make some over Easter.

Oh, how I long for a cook-off! With lots of people around to eat the vast mountains of food we make, and maybe get roped into doing the dishes afterwards. :D
