So! I went up to Auckland, ostensibly just for the weekend, for it was my mum's 52nd birthday and my dad called me all like "Are you doing anything?" and I was like "Nope, still unemployed." But I was to return to Napier by Tuesday, so that I could attend a job interview for the position of assistant librarian. A really good job, in other words
