Thanks to Work & Income scheduling me for a meeting that it turned out I wasn't supposed to be in (because I'm already on their SmartStart programme), I missed a call from the people at the awesome library job I was interviewed for. Oh *wow* that's annoying.

Hopefully you will have a job, and you can grovel to Smart Start and explain things to them, and grovel to the internship people, and maybe turn up to the internship with cookies? Just so they remember you as 'that really awesome woman who showed up once with cookies then was swallowed by bureaucracy. Damn bureaucracy'.

:P No worries. I left a message for the SmartStart people in question, and I can only hope they get it in time to do something about it, or at least not glare daggers at me the next time I see them.

Though cookies might also be a good plan.
