Yum. I haven't had anchovies until relatively recently...love them! I've never had it with bruschetta, which I also think is delicious. I must try this soon...

I first tried them a few years ago. The saltiness shocked me at first because I was expecting them to be like sardines. I threw the can away after taking a small bite.

Then a year ago I tried them again, and I loved them. I think the first time I just didn't know what to expect. I like them enough to eat them by themselves but they become so much better when used in recipes like this.

This anchovy bruschetta is so good. It doesn't look like it would be as good as it is. It's like having an orgasm in your mouth, as Stewie Griffin would say.

You know, for the past couple of days, I've wondered why your posts don't show up in my friends list. I just realized that I'd never modified my watch settings so that you'd show up there. Whoops. Here I'd thought you'd gone and filtered me out or something.

I'll give this recipe a try some time.

Do you like shrimp at all? I've got an easy coriander-tomato "sauce" that works really nicely with shrimp.

I wouldn't filter you out, I like your posts.

Thanks for putting me into your elite filter group.

I like shrimp, but I only eat seafood occasionally since our oceans have become so polluted and there's methyl mercury in all of it. I'd like to hear the recipe though.

I don't do filters like that either, I just friended you and never added you to "real people", which is what I watch on my list. I don't like being flooded on the communities at the same time as I'm reading what actual folk are doing, I prefer to go to the main page of the community to do that ( ... )

Thought of this tonight. Went out to eat and had some with spinach, tomatoes, and a tiny bit of bell pepper. Was good stuff.

Awesome. What restaurant was it?

I've been meaning to make your coriander-tomato shrimp recipe, but I've been so busy lately with my classes and other stuff.

It sounds good and I want to make it, maybe sometime this week, though I'll probably leave out the heavy whipping cream, because I don't like milk that much, and also the almonds because I'm allergic to them.

The cream makes the sauce ... well ... creamy. haha
Maybe melted cheese instead? Or is that similar enough to not be so good?

And it was a small "pizza" place near my house. I think it's called Russo's. We had gnocchi and a stromboli as the meal part.

I dislike melted cheese or anything with that thick mucusy texture. I never eat alfredo sauce on my pasta either.
