Aerial to thumbover

This is an aerial I've been learning this past week where you let the balisong rotate one and a half times, catch the side facing away from you, and pull it into a thumb rollover. This aerial was first done on video by legendary flipper Murnax in 2005. I do the aerial once at the beginning and once at the end.

Lol, thanks. That's one of the things that I like about bali-songs, it's a skill you can keep improving and learning in, and see your progress over time. There are no limits to how good you can get, even the best people like Murnax can improve.

It didn't hurt that bad. I felt a touch, and only knew I was cut when I looked.

You shouldn't. I've been doing this for 8 months now and that's one of the worst cuts I've ever gotten. I've not had any cuts that I'd call serious.

Ah, don't say that. It's not that scary, the cuts you will tend to get are little nicks, and once you practice the moves you'll almost never get cut doing them. You can always tape your blade as well.

I hope you do get into it. More girls need to flip balisongs.
