must devise a plan to make it possible to concentrate for the rest of the week and not check the weather in hawaii every 15 minutes...oooooohhh, and it's only Tuesday!

This time of year, high 70s low 80s in the day, 60s at night. The trade winds are back so that is keeping the temp nice. you will have great weather!! have fun in Hawaii. If you need any advice or anything, let me know.

Short and short sleeves in the day. I believe you might want to bring a swimming suit. :-) I would suggest jeans and some kind of long sleeves for night or on the boat. Evening walking along the beach in the evening can get cool with the wind

thanks for the input! :) yes, a few bathing suits are packed, I've got that covered.
As far as hawaiian cuisine goes, someone told me about some spam thing? Hmmm...I don't know about that...but I'll look into some of the places you told me.
Do you live near Waikiki? Oh, and what about that smoothie place - I think you told me about it a long time ago in LJ...
i don't blame you, girl! i'd be doing the same. i'm trying to think of somewhere good--but close--to take an overnight trip for my birthday. any ideas?
Cambria is really nice - it's up the coast about 4 hours maybe, is that too far? I have the best memories of this pebbly beach (I have a little bottle full of those pebbles! they are really pretty) and there is s small "downtown" with nice places to eat and shop. Perfect for a one night thing - and the hotels are situated so you can watch the beautiful sunset on the pacific...
okay, that is so strange that you mentioned it, because cambria is the town i've been considering. i've never been and i only hear good things about it! thanks for the tip.
yay! a vaction for you! hey - when we both return we will have to hang out! I know you may think I'm all talk - but I'll stick to this. I want to hear about your vacation. I will see you in a week or so, okay?
