I'm trying to slow down for a few to post a few notes...in between cooking meat for walking tacos for a team BBQ/pot luck tomorrow...
Had to rotate tires myself since the firestone couldn't do it, they were swamped with everyone else trying to get tires once the storm had arrived. This resulted in rough skin hands and short periods of no feeling in both hands & feet, but now I have better traction anyways. Mileage is 189741.1 and still holding together. Funny, the only tires they had anyway he didn't recommend for snow driving, called it a temporary tire, but turns out its what I've been riding on for almost 2 years and the back set had better tread, so there I go! I get great performance from the cheapest tires lately.

The whole broke Wind family will be going to the team party tomorrow, at least for an hour before Michele has to go back to work, Wednesday nights are all the small groups at church. I hadn't invited her since I knew that was a work night, but coach who knows her from the church asked (his wife also knows her) and so I asked her and she said sure, at least for the time she can. Anyway, this party is partly a long awaited gathering for us away from work time and other partly a result of being the only team in the call center to have all scores at or above a 3 for November. $100 for the team BBQ so far, and we're expecting a few hundred more for more team events.

I had tacos with Michele and the kids at the house tonight, then put together a new dvd shelf/case thingie. I won't discuss how poorly the instructions/illustrations were done, except to say I had to disassemble different parts twice. While there I asked if she knows whether my coach & wife know I'm not living there, she didn't know. I don't know either. I have not made a secret of it at work, and my previous coach knew as I told her (and she lives on the same street as Michele), but I haven't really had much time to discuss it with the new coach...anyways, hopefully no big deal will result. Honestly I'm more concerned I'll have to deal with a tantrum from Meara, who's gotten worse with gift time just around the bend.

I'm looking forward to December 16th. Why? Well don't you realize - it is of course national chocolate covered anything day! So far I'm plotting raisins and mini marshmallows since they worked out awesome just after turkey day, before I realized what the 16th of December was...to think I've missed out all these years. Well I must make amends for that! Also think I should add other fruits to the list...and maybe try some others you don't see everyday covered with the black gold...definitely drissle some on carmel corn...maybe some carmel wieght watchers twinkies dunked/covered, yeah I'm gonna have to do that!
