I can't be bothered to do a 'proper' update right now, but this is just to let you all know... Amanda's visa application for the UK was passed yesterday in absurdly speedy time! Cheers, I finally got around to figuring out how to transfer pix to the computer, and then how to mess about with them when you have them there. It was as mercifully easy as I hoped it would be!

yes, I've a theory we frightened them with so much STUFF in the application (divided into a huge ring-binding folder with sections A, B, C & D backing up our case) that they assumed we'd be a pain in the arse and just gave us the visa right away.

Perhaps there's a career for either Amanda or I in being an immigration lawyer...
