We went to see the Hershey's chocolate factory today. Actually, I've got a cold, and to be perfectly honest that's all I can summon up the enthusiasm to write. I have managed to glance at some of them. So you're in Colchester? I'm actually back in Essex at the moment. It's the region of Britain probably least favourably known for its social niceties (or lack thereof). I spent a lot of time growing up in this county, so I'll be touching upon it at some point very soon on my journal as well.

Don't mean to knock Essex, more meant tourism as an abstract thing. Walking around, "seeing" things gets old real fast. The experience of existing, living, experiencing a place is far more interesting.

No, please DO knock Essex. I won't be offended, I'll probably be doubled up on the floor laughing. There again, if your experiences here are largely positive, then that's interesting too. God knows I probably need to understand the better side of this county - I think my teenage provincial years here have soured me against it for life.
