So I've been thinking about whether I should create a community to post my future works in (after LMW is completed) or if I should create a new journal lately, reason being my having a similar username as an older lj-er shawol writer out here makes me feel.. unoriginal, as if I've copied her. It's unintentional of course; my username was perceived

I'd say: create a fic comm. Changing your username will confuse a lot of people and they won't associate your future fics with your current username anymore. It's like you're suddenly a new writer, and they won't think "oh, it's 23elevens but with another username". Idk, personally, I don't like it when people change their usernames because I can't seem to find them again afterwards. And, from what I've seen, people usually change their name when they want to shed their current image; change of fandom, otp, writing style, etc.

And I know which user you're referring to. Lol. But I think she only writes 2min? Not sure.

Anyways. Just my 2 cents on this matter.

mm i get your point, i don't want to lose the number of sweet lj-ers out here that i've managed to befriend too haha. i'll create one sometime soon, so thank you for the advice

I think she does because I only see her post at the Taeminho comm. I remember that there was once a controversy regarding one of her stories and the mods at the comm basically went batshit.

But yeah, I get you on the matter, because your usernames are very similar. But since you write Jongkey, I don't think people will get you guys mixed up.
