Aidan had spent most of the evening with friends, trying not to smother Martha too much. She had never complained about all the time they spent with each other, but he also knew how important having your own life was too.

Still, he preferred sleeping next to her in bed to not, so after the evening was winding down, Aidan made his way to the Green Arrow Estates and let him into her place. At this late hour, only she and Alfie would be in so he didn't feel the need to knock.

He'd been going over things in his mind lately, and he had decided that it was time to tell Martha a few things. He didn't want to keep secrets from her, at least not too many, Mitchell was a cautionary tale in that regard.

Stepping in though, with the low candles and the general mood of the place, he wondered if Martha might have other ideas.

"Martha?"

"Hello you," she says, glancing up. She pulls off her reading glasses and drops them and her book on the table. She shoots him a smile.

"I was hoping you'd drop by."

For a moment, Aidan didn't answer, he just took in the sight. The outfit was enticing. Teasing. Getting his blood pumping in ways that made him want to lose himself with her.

"I'm glad I did," he said after he had thoroughly raked his eyes over her body in a way that didn't hide his lustful intentions one bit.

There's no way to misread that look. She tilts her head, watching him quietly. The robe keeps her well-covered, but she knows that he's got a decent idea of what's underneath.

"I may have done some forward planning."
