there's a bar travelling up my monitor, repeatedly. that can't be good. well, i'll just have to get a mac.

If you need a temporary solution, usually most Cash Converters have 17" monitors for around $10-20. Levi even got lucky a while back and got a flatscreen 21" CRT for around $30 from the one that used to be on Little Creek Rd. Sometimes Craigslist will also have some pretty good deals too...
