FINALLY! Someone who GETS it! (Well okay I thought the character models looked good personally :P)

That said, you know how I looked at Front Mission Evolved? Gun Hazard. Front Mission: Gun Hazard was a sidescrolling action spin-off to the Front Mission series back on SNES. Front Mission Evolved is basically Gun Hazard 3D.

But yeah, Evolved was pretty good and I'm actually SURPRISED it's getting so much hate. Also on the topic of "2010: The Year of Games that Piss-Off Fans" we have a remake of Lufia 2 as an action RPG on DS. It's pretty awesome. Although the fans seem to be somewhat accepting of THAT one. Somewhat.
