Other stuff to get rid of

I have some NTSC (i.e. American-format) VHS copies of Sapphire and Steel which were copied off of original PAL (British) format VHS tapes. As the show has been since released on DVD, I'd like to pass these tapes along to someone who might find them appealing

Probably! I might suggest the second story as the first one to watch.

Special effects are minimal. A given story (4-8 episodes) only has about 5 characters. It moves slow. But I think it's clever.

And, in my opinion, don't watch it episode by episode, but rather story by story. Nothing wrong with a break between watching episodes, but any given episode is just really a chunk of the story, not something standing alone. Each story's completely separate, though.

Does this involve storing items inside his butt? Getting rid of items is not the hard part; it's making sure they get a good, appropriate home. And butts, while good for storing swords, are not optimal for video tapes.

I heard a crazy rumor that this LJ account belongs to someone I know... ;)

And I'm in the process of web-ifying rumor files (using the classic rumor format!). Got the html web interface part done, next up is xml and hopefully a firefox extension - so it's just about as handy as a shell command was, but for us web developers who spend our lives in firefox.
