Octavian watched as Julius covered his fruit with honey.
“Is that any good?” he asked.
“Oh, yes,” Julius moaned as he took a bite of bananas and honey.
Octavian cocked his head. “It doesn’t look that appetizing.”
“I think it is. And I’m the pregnant one, so hush.”
Octavian laughed. “This is true, my love. But is it healthy for you to be eating all of those foods mixed together?”
“The healers said it was fine.” Julius grabbed a strawberry coated in honey and nibbled on it. Octavian looked away. “You don’t like it?”
“Banana’s and honey seems fine, but not strawberries and honey.”
Julius huffed. “Well you don’t have to eat it and you certainly don’t have to watch me.”
Octavian moved closer to Julius. “I know I do not. I want to.” He kissed his lover.
“Oh, Octavian. You say all the right things sometimes.”
“Only sometimes?”
Julius nodded and took a bite of watermelon and honey. Wisely, Octavian said nothing.
