1. Do I have to write about the episode of the same title?

No, actually, the episode titles are only meant to inspire you. You can use the prompt in any way you'd like.

2. Do I have to write the same series as the prompt set?

No, absolutely not.

For example, if I choose to write about Captain Kirk, I can use the Voyager prompt set. Or use Counselor Troi and use the Enterprise prompt set. You can use any prompt set with any of the series.

3. Is real person fic allowed?

No, this is about the Star Trek universe, not the actors who portrayed the characters in the series.

4. Are original characters allowed?

Absolutely, as long as they fit within the Star Trek universe.

5. Are crossovers allowed?

Within the Star Trek universe, yes. I'd prefer not to see other characters from other series invading the Star Trek universe, but we'll see how it goes and how much interest there is in allowing other crossovers.

6. Are AU's allowed?

Absolutely, just as long as you use Star Trek universe characters.

7. How many claims can I have at one time?

Two claims at one time.

8. Can I claim a threesome or quad?

This can be tricky, but as long as you can work the same 3 or 4 people into the fic every time, I say go for it.

9. Can I claim an entire series?

I don't think this would be a problem either as long as you understand that claiming the entire series doesn't mean that others can't claim characters within the series.

For example, if I claim ST:TNG, someone could still claim Captain Picard as a solo claim or even Picard/Crusher if they'd like.

10. Can we claim any character within the Star Trek Universe, including villains?

Sure, character exploration is always welcome!

11. Is slash allowed?

Absolutely, go for it!

12. What is the minimum fiction length?

100 words, after that, the sky is the limit.
