"I am voting for John Kerry but not because everyone else is. I am doing it because I think that a woman has the right to choose, I think that homosexuals have the right to be happy, I want to be told the truth as to why we are at war, I want to finish what we started and bring everyone home, I want to give someone else a chance to better the ( Read more... )

i have my own reasons but i think what dina said was well put, dick face. bush has tons of "plans" but doesnt know where the money is coming from and cant explain himself. i believe in pro-choice. i'm for stem cell research. health care shouldnt be so expensive. i want min wage to be higher. our economy needs some help. im against war (esp when he goes into war for the wrong reasons). i dont think a billion dollars needs to be spend to tell kids sex is bad. im not a conservative. and if he was going to do something excellent he would have done it 4 years ago.

i dont need to listen to the media and nofx to make a decision, i am capable of thinking for myself. and after watching the debates (LykE Oh mY GawD, i AxUally WatChed tHAt? I thOugT i wUz 2 duM 2 wAtch ThosE tHinGs) i could easily see why i didnt want bush to be president for another 4 years.

you have kerry and bush mixed up. its kerry that has expensive plans, and still wants to give large tax cuts to all classes. im for stem cell research too but you cant have your cake and eat it too. your right, health care shouldnt be so expensive but unfortunatly the president doesnt have direct consent over it. having a higher minimum wage would be swell, except for the fact that the economy is recovering from falling on its face and doesnt need more of a strain. youd probably be suprised what a $.25 difference in pay can do to a company. our economy does need help. after 9/11 it went to shit. now its steadily on its way backup due to bush and greenspan working together ( ... )

i dont have them mixed up at all. bush said, on the debates, he wasnt sure where he would get money to do some of the things he planned on doing. and i do think taxes should go up, considering all the money we spent on the war.

and i have my opinions, i dont need yours in my journal.

thanks. i am educated, very well educated but i do not feel that at this point any of it is worth fighting about. everyone has their own opinions on the subject. I do not listen to nofx and I am not owned by the media. I am in a class this semester that focusses heavily on the use of Media and it's influences on Politics so I have been very well educated about how the news, shows such as SNL, and many other forms of media can sway a persons opinion on a subject. Today I went out and voted for what I believed in, I did my part. If Kerry is elected and he manages to fuck up over the next four years then I will be sorry I voted for him. But I do not agree with President Bush's beliefs and I do not feel he has done much good throughout his term. So I guess when we wake up tomorrow morning we will all see who wins. Fighting about who is right and who is wrong won't do any good at this point, the votes have been cast and now we wait for a winner.
