Changes in my meds

Soooo my AC1 went from 7.5 to 10.5 (not good) I told my Dr today it was because of my lifestyle. So she changed me from 2x's a day 70/30 novalog to once a day Lantus. I went from the pen to (back to syringes and vials)but hopefully I can talk to the Diabetes Nurse at the Joslin tomorrow and get the pens for this, I hate drawing from a vial. But at
