Yeah, I have mixed feelings about that. I personally know people who aren't very good at raising children and also know the kids who are HELLIONS as a result. It's a tough call to say what to do next at this point. :/ You can't let the kid continue to run wild... but at the same time, you can't SCOLD him/her for acting out as a result of their insecurities or misguided examples. It just sucks. We need to resort to the old fashioned days of picking your switch off the tree and getting BEAT TO A PULP with it. (so kidding) I think it all really stems from how much time a parent spends with their kid - focussing JUST on them and thier education and such. Quality time is KEY. (but who has all the answers? certainly not the single/no children 32 year old.)

yeah, you gotta keep on that. You don't want him getting the upper hand. And when he does... then you guys can start fighting each OTHER! YEAH!! ;)
