Just as I was leaving work this afternoon Mike called me to ask if I could come pick him up and take him to the hospital because he was pretty sure he was having a heart attack. Thank you for your kind words. He seems to be doing better today, so I'm hoping that it really was just an isolated incident.

Was it just really bad heart palpitations? Or was it an actual heart attack?

Either way, I am so relieved to hear that he is feeling better. Is he going to see his regular doctor today?

They couldn't tell us what it was, which does nothing to reassure me. The doctor said that the tests came back negative for any type of heart incident, no sign of damage to the heart, and no blood clots. Mike has an appointment on Monday to see his regular doctor, barring anything else happening over the weekend, so I'm trying to lay off the wringing of hands till we see what he has to say.
