there's a hole in my eyebrow

My eyebrow ring fell out sometime between when I went to bed on Thursday and when I took a shower Friday morning. It's still AWOL, so I haven't had one in since Friday, and so far no one has noticed it until I call their attention to it. Eyebrow-ring?

Don't those things grow-out anyway?
I'm not pierced myself (my Comedy ‘Immune’ System makes me the Poster Boy for Stupid Allergies, so I'm unwilling/too scared to have foreign bodies inserted into me), but I'm sure that an old friend of mine was on his third brow-ring after the first two had been ‘pushed out’.

Am I right, or is this just False Memory Syndrome?

I know a couple of people who had their eyebrow rings grow out. I've had mine since 2003, and so far there haven't been any signs that it's growing out. :crosses fingers: Of course, I'm assuming I'll be able to get the damn ring in once it finally gets here. If not, I'll have to go in and get it re-pierced. My belly-button ring I'm undecided on, but the eyebrow ring is one I want to keep!
