Wedding Accommodations

Maria and I will be coming up for Albert and Nancy's wedding, and will therefore require a place to stay for the weekend. We'd prefer to stay with one of you who lives in the area over getting a hotel room, because it's cheaper and means more time with friends. We can bring sleeping bags and sleep on the floor if need be. A place to park the car ( Read more... )

I'd offer you guys a place to sleep here (with Matt's consent, of course), but I'm not sure you two would enjoy sleeping in my living room with two cats walking all over you guys all night long.

Of course I'd consent to that. However, as David said, cats might be a concern.

Oh, and I'll cook or something. Or leave leftover from the OSE, but probably cook since I seem to have gotten in the habit of baking cakes or cornbread when I stay over at people's houses.

Hmm, when is Albert and Nancy's wedding? I ask because I was thinking of going up to the Stanford area either this weekend or next weekend to drop off something in my parent's place (long story involving a disassembled couch that has been sitting in my trunk for the past, oh, two months).

I'd offer to carpool except that my car is almost completely packed and you'd both have to violate numerous traffic safety laws in squeezing in. But if I'm up there when the two of you are I suppose you're welcome to crash.

Wedding is on the 29th - we're thinking about driving up on Friday morning.

Oh, cool. I think I vaguely remember you mentioning that date and something about informal gatherings of various misplaced souls occurring at that date. Maybe I should make an effort to come up that weekend instead of this one.

I've got a room I'm basically not using. No furniture, but plenty of floor space. There's parking spaces that you can use as well.

I don't know how large my single is (I'm moving in tomorrow), but if it's pretty big, I don't have that much stuff so there should be plenty of room to cram more people in temporarily. I'm in Potter 110, if I recall correctly.
