If you want to get all technical, they're really "love metal". Ville has said this time and time again. But since "love metal" isn't a real genre of music, theyre rightfully pop rock. HIM's main influences are iggy pop, turbonegro, and KISS. So maybe you should do a little more research then just talking with the fucking fruits at Hot Topic.
