'Homeland' is being heavily promoted here at the moment (which always sets alarm bells going for me - does that mean the TV network thinks its good, or only that they spent a fortune on it?) YAY - thanks for the rec, bb!! I hate investing (emotional) time in a show that just doesn't deliver - LOL! Now I'm really hyped to see it. :)

Watch it! Well worth it. Realistic and original. And give it a few episodes if you're undecided after the first one.

Thanks so much for the rec!! I was really teetering on the edge but it does sound intriguing - I get so cynical when the networks push things down your throat. I'll give it a good go! :)

I'm like that with books, as in cynical about bestsellers. If everybody likes it, chances are it's bland. Unless of course it's extraordinary.

I've watched 'Silent Witness' sporadically. Reruns would be nice!
