That fish...

I don't think anyone will mind too much if you kept him, to be honest.

Is there something wrong with the fish?

Well it's a fish...it swims and eats.

What else is a fish supposed to do?

Hello!

From what I hear, Violet is a little under a week's journey away. It's also got a tower with ghosts I'm excited to visit.

Good luck!

Why hello to you too!

Under a week huh... I'll have to make sure I bring enough supplies then and are you talking real ghosts or pokemon?

Thanks.

I wish I knew. When I ask, I hear one thing from some people and the other from other people. You'll be getting there before me. I'd love to hear what you found!

Well if I check the tower out I'll be sure to tell you what I find.

That's right, Mister! Violet City is the next stop. There is a lot more stuff to do there than Cherry Grove. There is a Pokemon school and a gym.

Oh! And Sprout Tower. Though you probably don't want to go there. People think it's scary. [Bridget has no idea of Harry's tolerance level for horror.]

Well that certainly sounds like more to do then in this little town. It's not bad but after a while...

Is that the tower that has the ghosts in it? [I doubt ghost pokemon are going to be scaring Harry away, but it doesn't really sound like a place he's interested in anywho.]

Mmmhmm. They're not very scary but they like to prank people a lot! If you're easily tricked I wouldn't suggest going there.

I think I'd be fine if I went there, but I don't see why I'd want to in the first place. I'll worry about that when I get to Violet City.

[Harry was tricked all of SH1, hah he shouldn't go there 8| ]

It took me about a week or so on foot, just as the others say.

As for the fish, I apparently heard that they stare at you whilst you're sleeping.

[Being perfectly serious here.]

..........what.

[8'| don't freak him out, he was actually liking his magikarp]

They stare at you? Even if they're in their pokeball?

I'm not sure.

The only thing I heard was that there was a flood a while back... and almost everyone received fish that kept staring at them in an inappropriate manner.

...But it'll be wise to take this with a pinch of salt, seeing as I heard it from Snow Villiers. Ask him.

aaa late replies but they're here 2beamasonator August 6 2010, 09:07:05 UTC
Yeah I found the egg during the flood as well, but I hadn't noticed my fish staring at me in any inappropriate way. Then again, I hardly have it outside of it's pokeball.

Ah well, thanks. If I ever talk to a Snow Villiers I'll bring it up to him.

A week or so, I think.

Is it a big red fish? If that's the case, it's called a Magikarp.

That's what everyone else seems to be saying.

Yeah, that's what it looks like. It's been nice so far, even if it only comes out to swim.

Hey, we've talked before though right? I don't think I caught your name last time. My name's Harry.

Magikarp...don't really do much.

O-oh, sorry, I must have forgotten. I'm Hal Emmerich, but most people call me Otacon. You were the one with the Kangaskhan, right?

I figured as much. I can't imagine someone trying to get it to fight like the other pokemon.

It's alright, you've been a big help though Hal. Yeah, I'm the one with the Kangaskhan.
