I've made it to Violet a bit ago. It certainly is an improvement over Cherrygrove, that's for sure. I'm curious though.

Has anyone read any good books lately? And if so where did you find them? I haven't exactly come across any book stores or libraries here.

[Yeah Harry is more concerned about finding a good book then fighting a gym leader or ( Read more... )

What? Harry, that tower is full of ghosts! Or so I've heard. It's better to not go there. Especially alone.

[Have a worried James.]

[Have a smiling Harry back. He's not worried a bit.]

I've heard about it having ghosts as well, I'll be fine you don't need to worry.

[Have a disgruntled James! He doesn't like that smiling! He's super serious!]

Have you ever dealt with ghosts? I know we've braved Silent Hill but this world is completely different than ours!

[He pauses.]

...If you're going then I will too, no sense in you going alone.

[And Harry is super not worried about this.]

Well... no I haven't dealt with ghosts before. I don't see the harm in just taking a quick look around the place though. And if it's pokemon, mine can just fight it off.

[what James, you don't even have a reason for going, stop that.]

You don't have to. Weren't you going to train your pokemon?

[yeah Harry creeped on your recent message, what of it]

The Trainer school has a few good books there! But, most of them deal with Pokemon....

Y-You should be careful...Last time, it was full of Ghost Pokemon!

Yeah, most the ones I found at the Trainer school deals with how to train Pokemon. I'm looking for a good story, something that isn't trying to teach me anything.

I've heard it was as well, but if they're just Pokemon what's the worse that can happen?

[Actually a lot of bad things can happen. Harry has no pokemon that can even hit a ghost if he came across one and was gonna fight it.]

Then, I'm not too sure...I haven't seen any bookstore here. It be nice to read a normal book for once!

Umm, th-they can sort of paralyze you by Licking you....[Oh, How many times has this happened already]

Isn't that the truth! I doubt I'll find a book that doesn't have to do with Pokemon but I at least want one that is more then some sort of guide.

Oh. Yeah that... does sound a bit tricky. Hmm maybe I won't stay and look around for as long as I thought. Though if I were fight them, wouldn't it be about the same as fighting Pokemon on the routes?

Unforunately, I have found nothing of the sort.

That's a real shame. Perhaps they have some in towns past Violet.

I've gone as far as Goldenrod. It would seem neither it nor Azalea have any books not pertaining to Pokemon.

I can deal with the books being about Pokemon. I just would like something more then just guides and tips. Something with a story would be nice.

[I bet Canalave's library would take care of Harry. Sadly that is far far away from Johto.]

[AND HAVE AN EQUALLY-WORRIED HEATHER. She actually saw what happened there, and... and... well. Let's just say she's not in ANY hurry to see her father get possessed and do Michael Jackson dance impressions while wearing his pants on his head, shall we?]

Wh-- I don't think you wanna go there.

... Really.

[She should be worried! I just realized that Harry can't fight ghosts anyways. All of his pokemon have normal moves and his Kangaskhan isn't a scrappy one. Though I think it would be hilarious if that happened to Harry. He wouldn't like it though.]

Not even for a quick look?

[Yeah Harry, you and your Normal types. Gosh, Harry. Gosh.]

Not even for a quick look. A friend of mine got stuck in there for about a week and the crazy stuff that happened to him is better left unsaid.

[Harry didn't need to hear about Liquid's hilarious black thong.]

Seriously, stay away from that place.

[Hey hey! Magikarp is a water type.. with no moves, but gosh he has more then normal!]

A week? It's a tower, I think it would be hard to get stuck there for a week.

[Yeah he didn't need to hear about that. He doesn't want to hear about some other guys thong]

I haven't found any libraries in Johto, but the best place to find information about anything is back at New Bark Town. I read interesting stories at the lab.

That... is really far away. If I wasn't already so far I'd go back but...

What sort of stories were they though?

[Video] radiantxsmile August 13 2010, 01:51:44 UTC
Some of them spoke about a legendary trainer from Pallet Town while other books taled about different kinds of pokemon. Most of the topic were: The theories of evolution, breeding, and other types of research.

What kind of information are you searching for? I think it would be a good idea to tell me something specific to help you better.

Oh those don't sound so bad. It figures the only story would be about a trainer though.

I'm not really looking for any sort of information. I'm just looking for some books to read in my spare time and am having a hard time finding something that doesn't read like a guide or a scientific report.
