[It's a nice fall weather sort of day, perfect for making a video post.]
It's been a while since I've used this thing, hasn't it? For anyone who cares I had been in Cherrygrove with James mainly training but otherwise not much. I left town again for a bit, but I'm back there again.
[Basically, he went on a wild goose chase out of town during all

[The one blessing is that this is a text message... it gives her some time to get her nerve up before she replies.]
Did I say 'Morris'? Maybe you misheard me.
[... Okay, well, to be fair, she'd never claimed that 'getting her nerve' up necessarily meant her response would be clever or effective.]
[Her own experience had made her decide to own up, but... god, she's not ready for this. She's so not ready for this. Stalling tactics. STALLING TACTICS.]
What happened to you? Are you all right?
[ooc: Be sure and post on the activity check so the mods know you've posted and don't remove you!
EDIT OH WAIT NEVER MIND YOU DID. <3]

[Heather's stalling tactics work for a moment though. It'd give Harry time to think about a response. Good thing this was text indeed.]
I'm fine. I had went back to Cherrygrove with James to meet up with his wife. I haven't really seen him after that fog was here though.
[Alright, the stalling question answered for the most part Harry got back to what he was asking before.]
I'm pretty sure you said Morris the first time we met though. Why?

[Of course, she shoves that down to the back of her head.]
That's good. So you weren't hurt or anything?
[Didn't see anything WEIRD in that fog, did ya Harry? You know, like maybe some monsters? Or a little girl, black hair, just turned seven?]
[Of course, the return to the original topic makes her stall again, heart in throat, and her fingers are already typing more denial before she stops herself.]
[Is this really how far she'd fallen? Getting herself caught up in a web of lies just to avoid talking to the one person she should have no reason to lie to? Heather was not a dishonest person by nature, which made the fact that these untruths sprang to mind so easily just a little pathetic.]
[The worst thing about that fog for her-- worse than the monsters, worse than the crackling static, worse than the fact that she'd been suddenly and inexplicably back in that hellhole, this time ostensibly for good-- had been the crippling ( ... )

I'm fine. I was physically tired after all of it, but as far as being hurt there was no more then a few scratches.
[What. WHAT. Ok things were just getting fishy now. With how Heather kept changing her answer on the whole 'Morris' and 'Mason' thing, Harry was getting suspicious. Even more so then he original was-- which wasn't much more then general curiosity at first.]
First you say I misheard you, and now the police report is wrong? Forgive my suspicions, but I don't think you're telling me the whole truth here.
[Heather's super complicating the questions.]

[He has no idea about that whole Harry being a Mason and stuff. Yup, just referring to your daughter, man. Nothing else.]
Reply
Yes, if you're referring to Heather that is. You know her as well I take it?
Reply
Yes, I have been acquainted with her a few times before. She's very kind.

As for the warrants placed on Miss Mason though, I would ask you to please kindly ignore it. There were certain...incidents occurring at the time of the fog. Many were not in their clear state of minds.
[This is one of the very rare times where the Professor goes against the police. He's normally helping the cops catch someone, but this time, he's against it. Crazy fog making crazy people.]

Jame's mentioned you a few times.

I'm doing alright. I'm back in Cherrygrove myself, still the same town with not much to do in it. How have you been doing Hal? It's been a while since we've last talked.
[Yeah, he still remembers his name awww yissss]
Reply
Oh, I'm...okay. It's been a little crazy.

[Harry is normally on the side of the police, but when it comes to James and Heather seeing them in trouble just didn't seem right.]
Oh? Been busy I take it?

[He has a good idea for James since they've talked about Silent Hill before, Heather though he has no clue]

...whatever they saw, it can't have been good. [Phoenix...actually knows that this "Harry Mason" is probably Heather's father -- he's actually in a similar situation to Harry in the fact that he suddenly aquired an incredibly old daughter upon arriving in Route. But...he's not entirely sure, for one, and even if he was, he's prety sure that Heather hasn't manned up and told him yet.]

If it was anything like my experiences with the fog, it wouldn't be.
[Harry doesn't know yet. She doesn't tell him until... well up there in that thread but that didn't happen yet down here. 8|b Future daughter business is super confusing like that.]
