You weren't one of those I was planning on removing, lurene. :-)
Thanks for your offer, there's plenty of stuff in python I don't get (yet), having just started last week.
So far I've spent too much time trying to get python-mode.el working the way I want in emacs. Lisp isn't my thing, although I can do it if I have to...
I think I must have added you because of an ayn rand group post or something. Although on your page you have some online test that Julia also has, so it may have been through that connection.
Anyway, feel free to hang around and comment if you'd like. I'm taking you off my friends list for now, just so I can keep my friends page cut down to the absolute minimum. I can add you again later if it seems appropriate.
I was never on there in the first place, but I've been dealing with Python a little bit through using PyDance on a Mac, don't know if that counts for anything.
You can keep everyone you want to keep track of on your friends list, but only view certain people's posts on your friends page, by creating a custom security group named "Default", making it public, and adding to that list whoever you want to see on your friends page. I think this might automatically make another public grouping named "All", with everyone in it, that you can access through a slightly different link, or you may have to manually make it and add everybody in a similar fashion. That's what I do for people who usually post many times a day, so when I do want to read their journals, I don't have to hop around to the friends list of someone else to get there.
I don't know if I've ever been on, but I don't really keep track of who friends me, and you post so rarely. I check in from time to time to see if there's anything new. If you have filtered posts, I'd be interested in reading those. Up to you, of course! Hope things are well.

Would you like to remain a "friend", Jilly?
