My mom didn't even make it to my graduation because she almost died from complications from a surgery she had a week before we graduated, and then she was in the hospital recovering from the life-saving surgery for a while and I was driving myself up there crying and exhausted and annoyed, too.. I had just gotten my license, my dog had died recently, Ashley died recently, college was going to start and I was leaving Overlea and my "friends" and things just got really scary all at once and really tough to handle
