He watched her from afar and smiled to himself. She still looked as beautiful as the day they were together. He missed her of course; none of them knew why they had broke it off but that’s just the way it was. He questioned it of course but nothing came to him that gave a good enough answer.
She spotted him in the crowd and nodded her head at him, smiling. She could still take his breath away with a single smile. Harry remained where he was and she continued what she was doing with, he presumed her new boyfriend. He wasn’t bitter towards her, in fact he’d let that go a long time ago. He was happy for her, but she still looked beautiful and vibrant.
They loved each other, he knew that for a fact and she did too. Maybe that’s why they broke it off. He didn’t know then and he doesn’t want to know now,but he’s happy with the way they parted.
They never spoke to one another afterwards but he knew that there was friendship waiting for each of them within one another, he knew that for sure. They had left one another. He watched as she laughed with her audience, just a year ago that would’ve been him laughing with her. She looked so stunning when she laughed, it was contagious. But, she always looked beautiful whether she was laughing or annoyed with him. Harry smiled to himself as he reminisced about the past.
“You ready to go?”
Harry looked up and smiled at his fiancée, and stood as she pulled him from the crowd. He’d met her not too long after his break up. They were planning on getting married in the fall, that was why he was in the village today; they needed to get everything in order. His fiancée was about a couple of inches shorter than him with hazel eyes and brunette hair that cascaded down her back. She was perfect for him. He loved her, and she loved him back. Harry took one last glance at Pansy’s retreating form and a faint smile sprawled across his face.
“Are we planning on inviting her?”
Harry looked at his fiancée as she tilted her head towards Pansy and smiled. She knew about his past relationship and she wasn’t bitter towards the fact that Harry still thought about Pansy. That was why Harry loved her, she understood everything. He brought their enclosed hands up to his lips and lightly kissed the back of her hand while he nodded.
“No,”
“Why not,”
“I don’t know,” he answered, looking down at his fiancée.
“I think we should,” she said, "She's been a big part of your life,"
Harry didn’t say anything as he trailed his fiancée through the crowded street of London. He simply followed her and smiled at the fact that his soon to be wife didn’t mind that his former lover would be attending their wedding. Both Pansy and his fiancée were beautiful to him, hopefully one day they would all get together and enjoy each other’s company.
The End
