Ahhh winter...

Frisbee golfing on december 19th in a t-shirt and jeans is awesome. The temperature today was round 50 and the sun was shinning, a great day to be outside. Tomorrow i'm off to sedona for a sweet hike in even nicer weather. I figure i better get out while i can, ya know, before coming back to chicago on thursday. see ya then!

yeah, yesterday while running, i had to keep pressing my fingers against my eyes to melt the icicles. yes, ICICLES from my eyelashes!!

on the contrary. the conditioning i put in back in chicago, namely sitting at bears games for 3+ hours in negative temperatures, has given me the gusto to face any bitter cold weather. Besides, it does get down into the single digits here overnight and into the morning, and riding a bike in that cold can bring tears to my eyes, then said tears freeze because it's so cold. it's more a mental game with me though. if i can convince myself i'm not cold, then i won't feel cold. try it sometime.

Its so damn cold that i slapped this guy on his ass yesterday and my hand got stuck. Then i figured, hey what the hell, so we went out dancing. He's a really great guy, but i just don't think i'm ready for any kind of commitment right now. I mean, i'll probably call him once in awhile or maybe send him a note at work, but anything beyond that would be a stretch.

Then i realized it was wayne gretsky and he gave me a high five.

And then i woke up.
