What time is it? It's Shooooo time!!

It's shaping up to be Sho's year isn't it? Last year was Leader's, and this is Sho-chan's year and rightly so.To be honest I'm looking forward to his drama more than Matsujun's. Based on the description alone, Smile sounds boring. I'll probably watch it out of loyalty for Jun-sama but I foresee dropping the drama after a few episodes. I was ( Read more... )

It doesn't sound like a ratings-puller but I love the premise. Lets hope Sho can pull this off.

That's true about the ratings.But the whole think sounds so great. :3 I love this kind of psychological suspense stuff so much. ;A;
I don't think I've seen him acting as mysterious and/or bad before(apart from the Sainoudama episode of Yonimo Kimyona Monogatari,minus the comedy part of course) but he can probably pull this off imo. :p

If Aiba ever gets a drama,I'd prefer to see him in sth that clashes entirely with his character,or not see him at all. :p But duh,that's so true about him and variety shows. ;_;

I can stand badly characterized males but if you botch the girls up, it's insta bye-bye.
I assume you didn't 'touch' Last Friends then. :pp God,had the most annoying female char ever.. DX Made me feel bad about my own sex or sth. :pp

jdramas has a way of making really good and by good i mean utterly mind-fracking psychological dramas. I'm really lookng forward to it. (and seeing matsujun smile a lot, but we'll see about other aspects of the drama)

Yes! something that is entirely not Aiba at all would be good if he could pull it off. Otherwise it'd be difficult to see him as anything other than Aiba.

I 'touched' it. 2 episodes I think. It just didn't stay with me. and wow, if it makes us feel bad about being female then I made the right decision ;_;b.

i second you on Aiba - he shouldn't be in a drama until he seriously amps up his acting skills. i like him in variety and agree wholeheartedly that variety is NOT something that should be looked down upon. But I want him to work on his acting because I see so much potential in him as a bad guy - complete psychopath sleaze. I SO want to see him. he has a good face, good body, good presence, GREAT voice (i think it is the most multi-dimensional in Arashi). I was just very impressed that one time on Shukudai when Funakoshi Eiichiro came and he acted the part of the bad guy. He pulled it off very very well, I thought!

complete psychopath sleaze

You have the best ideas T-Tb. Someone write this for him!

I dunno why exactly but when "great voice" and compliments for Aiba's voice comes from you, it makes me extra warm and happy all over. I yam ridiculous. aish.

I am shameful, but I probably won't touch Smile unless somebody on my F-List says OMG THIS IS AWESOME, and then gives me valid reasons backing up that claime. XD It just sounds really dull.

Door to Door too. Well, somehow I feel I should be obligated to watch it because Nino is actually going through a bit of pain and suffering for the role so the least I could do is watch it but...ehhhhh, I don't really feel like it.

Everybody keeps saying The Quiz Show looks like a psychological thriller, but I think I missed the memo? What exactly is it about? The CM I saw didn't really give me any insight to it. I don't know if Sho can pull of evil though. I watched that episode of YKM and I remember cringing, just a little bit. >_I think the case with Aiba-chan is, pure selfish fangirly greed. Variety shows shouldn't be discredited, but from a fangirl perspective, we want as much of our favorite as humanly possible! And we see the least of Aiba-chan, and that has to be hard for Aiba fans! I know I was dying for an Ohno drama just out of pure ( ... )
