In the process of moving, we need to weigh our cats inside their kennels. I tried to this myself by getting a scale. Alas, I bought a digital scale and apparently you have to be over a certain weight for it to turn on. My cats are simply not heavy enough to activate it. Luckily, tomorrow I have a vet appointment to get their shots updated. (Oh,

Can't you just pick up the cat kennel [with cat inside, of course] and step on the scale with it? Then weigh yourself without it? The difference would then be the weight of the cat in the kennel?

*mouth falls open* That would have been a great idea! I wish I had thought of it yesterday!

I went to the vet yesterday and they weighed them for me. 14.6 pounds with the kennel. :)
