Ugh, Verizon I loathe you. Our connection has been awful ever since the switch over from Softbank to Verizon. Today we had no connectivity at all. And since they took over our internet craps out between 12-3pm and is completely unreliable after 915pm at night. Very annoying ( Read more... )

Wow . . that's way north in TX! Only time I've been near that is when we've been up in Texarkana for hurricane evacuations.

I looked and it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive away from Dallas - home of Texas's state fair. I've never been, but I was watching "Strange Food with Andrew Zimmern" last night and they had it.

They had all this odd fried food there, too - fried pb&j and even fried Coke!

Oh, yeah, and Texarkana is still more than a 4 hour drive away, so I've never been that close at all.

Am I right that you are in Texas? If so, what city? With my sister in college in Seguin, TX, my mom and I are aways traveling from Lake Charles to Seguin - it's all along I-10.
