NEED HELP!

Just got seasons of Bad Girls shipped to me from the UK, but have now found out they won't play in my US DVD player. I need some sort of code, and aparently there is a website where I can find the specific code for my specific player. Wondering if anyone can help?

that sucks - are they in PAL format?

Don't even know what that means :) Just know my player says something along the lines of "wrong frequency" when I put them in.

well, I'm not sure if this is true for british stuff but my friend 42 had to get a special dvd player because the american videos/dvds she has me send her are in NTSC format and Aussie stuff (which is usually really super similar to british stuff) is in PAL format. That might not be the problem - but it could be. As to a workable solution, really don't have one, which sucks, but. However, I'd consult with another 'merican who's gotten the dvd to be sure.
