I just finished reading this and I'm just... stunned. It's beautiful. It's heart-stopping, gut-wrenching beautiful tragedy. Oh god... America with his pained and vicious righteousness, Russia with his cynical, childish madness- Mutually Assured Destruction never could be more terrifying or horrifying than this.

And yet you end up pitying them both, as they feel their bodies collapse bit by bit as they destroy each other, particularly at Russia's hints that he knows that he's insane, broken, but can't do anything about it. Once more, this was absolutely terrifying but gloriously written.

Oh, thank you!

There was originally be an epilogue, but... I guess it just didn't happen.

But yeah... this here is actually the second fic I ever wrote for this fandom at all. :D Just couldn't resist the prompt... love the darkfic.

This was you? Oh wow, this is one of my favorite Russia/America fanfics.

Absolutely terrifying, since it has both of them so in-character, and the fact they can feel their cities die was a very morbidly fascinating.

Really! Thank you. <3 I hope to write more of them sometime, but I have so many things to write right now.

I don't usually read this kind of fic, as it doesn't usually result in anything other than me rolling my eyes, but this? Damn. This was fantastic. I swear to you that I had chills.

You did an amazing job.
