Hmm, well seems a bit odd and all in terms of him contacting you to try and set you up with his step-daughter, but meh... if I was still looking for a date, I wouldn't be completely opposed to the set-up. There's nothing technically "ew" about it, since she's his step-daughter and not his bio daughter. I'd probably stop publicly referring to him as "Uncle" Ron though, and just call him "Ron".

Well, no one contacted me. I was asked for advice on this, and I wanted to get some other opinions on it before I made my "call". I mean, me personally would be curious to see if there was something more going on, that ulterior motive, but at the same time what if there wasn't?

I mean, I know in the south they claim people date their cousins, and in this case she isn't blood related...just seems weird to me. lol

I wouldn't have a problem with the date, and I'd also be wanting to find out more about the ulterior motive.
