We're all fine up here at the Lake.

Lea's doing fine, her Gall Bladder removal went well, and she's losing weight as well! She's going to take a couple of classes, one in clay work, one on entrepeneurship, and one on health this fall. We're taking the first two together. And she'll be substitute teaching again. We desperately need the funds, so ( Read more... )

Please give Lea my heart felt sympathies about the gall bladder. I had mine taken out a few years ago. The whole thing is an experience that I will never forget.

going back to work? Where do you work now?

For the past 2 1/2 years I've been working at Oak Hill Middle School. OHMS is being closed after this year (in one week) and repurposed as the home for Konocti USD's alternative education schools, except for Carle High School.

I will work at the site as a campus supervisor still, but now will be the only cs, and only for 2 hours. Given the budget crunches to education here in California, it beats a poke in the eye with a big stick.
