Must be some glitch because it's doing that with mine too.
And I haven't had the chance to read it myself yet, but the more I read about it, the more pissed off with Angel (and subsequently Joss) that I become. I basically have a post bubbling in me "How Toby Whithouse Eats Joss's Lunch" because I can virtually guarentee that when all is said and done I'll be able to do a compare and contrast of DH's follow-up of Twilight, and Being Human's follow-up of Mitchell's train massacre and Whithouse will have done it better.
I'm not willing to say I know this will get putzed. But I do worry about it. It's good to be all about the redemption -- but not if it involves not taking the transgression seriously at all. They're off to a good start here, though. Once you see the panels you'll know there's no whitewashing. Pearl and Nash are a pair of nasty customers. Angel chose to work with them.
I personally skimmed the comic, not that interested in anyone in there except Faith, so I'm no in over drive to read it.
But so far, Angel seems to be right off where we lift him back in season 5 of Angel, or before, like he learned nothing. So I'm not sure what I'm feeling, redundant storytelling maybe because what I skimmed seemed so predictable...but it's just the beginning so I'm not going to say anything more than that for the negative side.
Positive side was the art, and the characterization, which was nice. The new girl does sound kind of interesting too.
