A/N: written to keep me entertained. Also, I accidentally deleted it while posting another fic and getting very annoyed and frutrated. Luckily I still had it stored on my hard drive...

A young man in his early twenties was sitting on a stool by the bar. He had dark spiky hair and he was wearing a bit worn black leather jacket with a simple white shirt, dark jeans and white top designer sneakers. He was looking at the beer in front of him, playing with the drops of water dripping on the glass.

When Ryo walked into the bar and saw the figure, a smirk overtook his tired expression. He headed towards the bar. As he neared, he could hear the man talking to the bartender in a very awkward and stiff Kansai dialect. This made the Osakan’s smirk grow wider as he reached the other.

“This is Osaka, Shige! Loosen up!” Ryo exclaimed slinging an arm over the other’s shoulders.

Yes, the young man was Nishikido Ryo’s bandmate, the also Osaka-born Kato Shigeaki. NEWS was in town for a concert and after rehearsal Ryo had sent Shige to his favorite bar, claiming he wanted to see how much Osaka the younger had in him. Shige had looked at the man he was so used to bicker with oddly, then shrugged deciding he needed a drink anyway.

So now, there they were sitting in the bar side by side. Shige felt a little left out when the bartender turned his attention to Ryo the second the older man had made his appearance. The two seemed to be good friends and for a reason he didn’t know, this made Shige feel a little pang in his chest. Now the two were talking animatedly to each others in fast Kansai dialect with laughter filling the conversation. Shige didn’t quite get hold of the dialect and was quite sure at least a third of their vocabulary didn’t even exist.

A few minutes later when the bartender finally left to serve other customers, Ryo turned to Shige.

“And that’s how it’s done in Osaka,” Ryo said still in Kansai dialect, though much slower now. Shige looked down.

“I know, I know… I just can’t seem to hold of the ben again. It feels forced now,” He said so quietly Ryo almost didn’t hear him. But he did and let out a little snort.

“Come on, just relax. If you’re a true Osakan, it’ll come,” he said with a wide un-Ryo like grin and then gulped down the rest of his beer. Then he got back onto his feet and dragged Shige up with him. Shige quickly downed the rest of his own drink before Ryo yanked him towards the exit.

“Ryo, where the hell are you taking me? Wasn’t that humiliating enough?” Shige asked once they were out in the busy street. Ryo stopped abruptly and faced Shige.

“Humiliating? Who said I was trying to humiliate you?” Ryo asked with an angry tone while looking straight in Shige’s eyes. Shige squirmed under the gaze.

“Well, that’s what you usually do. It seems to be the purpose of your life or something,” Shige replied just as angrily and looked away. Ryo seemed to lose himself to his thoughts for a moment before looking at Shige again.

“I… I’m not trying to humiliate you. I just wanted to help you find your roots in this city, just like you’ve said so many times. But if you feel that way the I guess I’m just gonna go…” Ryo said quietly and started to walk away.

Shige stayed still for a while, weighing his options between staying with Ryo with the chance of actually getting humiliated and going back to the hotel and being boring. He quickly made his choice and ran to catch up with the older man.

Ryo stopped again, surprised.

“I thought you didn’t want to hang out with me,” he said bitterly looking like a kicked puppy. His tone made Shige wince a little.

“No… I-I’m sorry about that. I do want to find the Osaka in me. And you’re really the only one who can help me,” Shige told him nervously. Ryo looked away for a while before turning back to Shige with a small smile.

“Let’s go, then.”

Ten minutes later Ryo walked into an expensive club with Shige in tow. Ryo headed easily to the VIP section and Shige fought his way through the crowd behind him. Going through the opening Shige was engulfed into a group hug and into a blabbering of Kansai dialect by awfully familiar voices. Shige shivered a little at the thought of spending the night with Kanjani 8.

When they finally let go of Shige and finally got seated again, the mood didn’t get any less crazy. It wasn’t much of a surprise though with the amount of alcohol flowing down their throats.

Shige got his share of the shots. Sitting between Ryo and Ohkura, he found himself accepting the shots the less familiar handed him while Ryo had an arm around him protectively. Little by little, Shige did relax. Though that was well after he lost count of the shots. The more he let go of his sober thoughts, the more Osakan he became. By now, the Kansai dialect, that he had thought he would never capture again, was flowing in and out easily.

His thoughts cleared abruptly when he felt a hot breath against his ear.

“See? True Osakan blood never leaves you, no matter how long you’re gone,” Ryo whispered with his lips brushing against Shige’s ear with every word. Suddenly Shige felt really hot when his heart skipped a beat and the sped up into an unbelievable rate. Ryo’s hand was tracing pattern on his thigh while the other was toying with the hair in the back of his neck.

Shige looked nervously at the other Eito members and sighed in relief when no one was looking at them. Ryo had his face still buried in the crook of Shige’s neck and his hands were playing different body parts. The one that had been on his thigh had slipped under his shirt by now. Shige shivered when it toyed with the waistband of his boxers. Shige quickly turned to the older man.

“I’ll show you plenty more Osaka in me,” Shige stated and proceeded to drag Ryo onto his feet and towards the exit. Ryo would have been proud of his dialect if he wasn’t so entranced by the milky skin visible between Shige’s shirt and jeans, where his hand had just been.

Only when they were back on the street again, Ryo smirked realizing what exactly Shige meant.
