Well it is official. I accepted an agreement with PMC-Sierra for a four month work term and if they like me and I like them, I will be brought on full time. The position is a firmware designer for the data storage group. PMC-Sierra makes chips: microcontrollers, networking chips, data storage chips, etc... and lots of cool hardware stuff. I

Thanks Magic. I'll do my best to impress them. As a side project I am going to write my own real time OS. I've got notes from the CS website for real time. I tried getting stuff from the ECE website but of course they have things blocked, you have to be registered in the course to access the info. Bastards!

I don't think the car will make to Saskatoon either. I plan to donate it so I'll see how that goes. I am looking forward to cycling all over while in BC. I can really save money that way (no gas, less or no insurance).
