It's, what, nearly two weeks past WorldCon at this point, everyone's already over it, and I still haven't posted my con report. I'd just as soon drop the issue entirely, but too many people have been demanding it and I hate being a tease. So, here you go. All in all: mind-shatteringly fun.

Dude. I'm not cool. Cool people do not accidentally "snub" authors they have staggering amounts of respect for. The moral of that story is that I'm a social retard. Okay? Don't rub it in. :)

Heh. Well, after he saw me at about 10 consecutive New York signings (+ MagFields concerts) and then I started assisting several of his good friends and then we cooresponded for awhile about the Harvey Awards, I guess he finally figured I wasn't going anywhere and decided to learn it. Basically, I'm stubborn, and he's got a very good memory.

He says, "Liz Gorinsky!", hugs me, and asks, "Why have you been snubbing me?!"

I am officially dead of jealousy. Thank you, I am now a zombie.

Its not the failing that we jeal from, but the who. Anyone can snub a conversation (I do it all the time), but very few of us can say that they can, and have, done it to Neil Gaiman.
