Well, gee. I have all these exciting things to tell you about my Halloween weekend, but knowing me, it will take me until at least tomorrow to get a chance to write them up properly, so I might as well post the things I’d already mostly written about from before-then.

But if you don't actually like them, and you're just defending them for the city they come from, well, why? I mean, I desperately touted a band from Ohio in my last entry, so it's not like I have some hidden agenda against your state. Besides which, the bands from any city that people "have heard of" are often no better that the bands that they haven't. I hope you know I know better than to judge Cincinnati's entire musical output on the basis of one band that happens to be less interesting than a band they share a name with.

OK, I'll bite :) Heck, I'll read anything once. I don't usually go for high fantasy, but I'm happy to read a novel that tries to do something different, which this certainly is. I'll suggest it for my reading group this week.
And I'm going to have to get a copy of the current Locus. I'm very amused that your picture has been published in a widely-circulated magazine, considering how hard it is to get a photo of you. Apparently I just need to wait until you're fake-drunk and/or distracted.

Anyway. Don't buy the issue just for that! It would be totally silly. Besides which, I don't even think this was the first time I've been in Locus (I feel like I remember a picture being printed after last year's SFWA reception, but if so it wasn't very good). It's just hard to turn people down for pictures when they're from magazines. :P
