"Does anyone else find it weird that I just got two South American rodents in a row?"

Thanks muchly to whoever just anonymously bought me a LiveJournal account (yes, I'm vastly curious who you are, but if alg's considerably worthier plea didn't unearth her donor, I don't suppose mine would either). I actually have no idea what kind of magic powers this paid-ness entitles me to, but it will be fun reading up on it when I get a moment.

Just continue to be as sucessful as you have been, and enjoy every moment of it. I'm a bit 'stuck' due to other obligations, so seeing yourself and alg causing waves makes me smile. Now, I've left enough digital breadcrumbs around, but out of ethical courtesy I'd like to remain anonymous.

I can't guarantee success, but I certainly intend to try. :) And I will happily leave you to your anonymity... it's rare enough that people do nice things without expecting credit that I wouldn't want to imperil that.

Actually, this entire LiveJournal is a ploy to get you to miss New York enough to come back to it someday. :) The "South American rodents" line is from the William Finn musical, after one of the kids got "capybara" and "acouchi" on two consecutive turns.

I do indeed owe you a letter, but I think "overdue" is a matter of perspective, given that I've already told you all of my exciting news on AIM. But, yeah, I've been carrying it in my bag ever since I got it... I'm just waiting for a boring meeting to do it at so that my writing to you can be an act of subversion. :)

Ah, interesting. How were they? I've seen one or two that I'm not too fond of, but Kimberly Akimbo is really brilliant.
