Hey,

How did you get involved volunteering with MoCCa, and are they ever in need of more volunteers? I've got an overabundance of free time due to only working sporadically, so I've been looking around for productive things to do with it.

I first got in touch with the Museum when I was looking for an internship for my last semester of college. They didn't do internships at the time, so I just started volunteering. And yes, the organization is completely volunteer-run, so they're always looking for people to help out with anything from writing press releases to helping curate shows to bartending at parties. Drop a line to volunteers@moccany.org and let them know what sort of experience you have and what you'd like to do.

Liz--this arts festival sounds amazing! Must have been a lot of fun--and probably a blur at the time, from the sounds of the work you put in.

Best,

Love, love, love(!) the use of footnotes. I found you through wicked wish, and added you. Add me back, or don't. I'll live either way.

Why? Because people that use footnotes, and write better than I do*...on livejournal...are rare.

*I'm not saying I'm a magnificent writer. I am saying that the standards here are abysmal.
