Of course, milady--eventually. I do not tire physically save after some weeks of continuous effort, but there is always the weariness of mind and spirit that slumber refreshes.

Quite so, and particularly at this time of year. While typically I am content to spend a day or three awake and out and about ere settling down to rest, throughout October I am far less wont to sleep, save for the occasional nap.
